About the Team
At ELLERKER Opticians we are a company who firmly believe that
customer service is paramount. Over many years Stephen has put together
a great team with both experience, young talent and personality.
From
your first phone call to the moment you walk through the door of the
practice, you will feel comfortable in the friendly efficient atmosphere
and you can be sure you will receive the very best service at all
times.
 Steve - Optometrist and Specialist Contact Lens Practitioner - Steve has 30 years experience as a local optician. He enjoys gardening and watching TV, depending on the weather.
 Alex – Optical Technician
- Alex runs our optical laboratory with great attention to detail. He has gained the highest marks in optical qualifications, and still persists in constant study. He
is also a musician and is studying for an Open University degree in
maths.
 Joanne
– Practice Manager & Optical Dispenser - Joanne is very experienced
having worked with ELLERKER Opticians for 4 years and previously with
ELLERKER Opticians in Castle Gates, Shrewsbury. She enjoys family
holidays and working with people.
 Jennifer
is quietly confident in her approach to customer service. She is very
individual and relates well to our customers. She is very organised in
her role at work and in her spare time enjoys doing craft work.
Abi - Optical Receptionist - The latest member of ELLERKER Opticians, Abi is already settling in well with good attention to detail. She has a friendly approach and in her spare time enjoys being sociable and meeting with friends.
 Ashley is that cheeky character who may be remembered from the bygone days. This previous owner of Eyewear Direct still joins us every Friday bringing with him his expert knowledge in manufacturing optics and customer service.
