About Stephen Ellerker

Stephen qualified as an optometrist in 1973 with an honours degree in optometry from City University, London.

In 1974 Stephen moved to Shrewsbury and set up a practice in Bayston Hill. He then moved the business to Walker Street in Wellington, Telford.

In 1979 he obtained an advanced contact lens qualification.

In the same year he bought a practice in Castlegates, Shrewsbury where he practised for 10 years.

In 1989 Stephen sold his practice and took time out to do a further Masters Degree at Middlesex University.

Having achieved his degree he joined the flourishing ELLERKER Opticians in 2004 and acquired the business in 2007.
